My son woke up one morning – Hysterically crying! As I rushed to him I just thought (great, he probably peed the bed.) When I got to his room and asked him “What’s wrong, What happened?” With tears rolling down his chubby little cheeks, he sniffled and yelled out “Super Man Pushed Me!” This was my son’s very first nightmare – and as sad and tramatizing as it was for him, I thought it was a little funny yet painfully adorable!
I had the pleasure of meeting the author of The Nightmare Navigator- When Shadows Lurk and he happily sent my children a copy of his awesome book! Valor is the brave boy who is taught how to fight the fright that sometimes happens in the middle of the night. The book is a great nightime adventure that will have your kids laughing at monsters and making friends ghosts and dancing with the Boogie Man.
