West Hollywood: Inside Our Amazing Stay At The London Hotel

There are so many great options to stay in LA and the internet is always giving me mixed reviews. Should I stay in sunny and vibrant Venice Beach, under the radar Santa Monica, or fabulous West Hollywood? This past trip, I decided to stay in West Hollywood because of the proximity to the events we wanted to be close to. After some investigating and researching hotels to see amenities and location, we decided on West Hollywood! Here is an inside look at our amazing stay at The London Hotel, West Hollywood California.

Location is key in West Hollywood

Will you be renting a car or travelling by Uber, foot or using the courtesy car….yes, you heard me right, The London in West Hollywood, offers a courtesy vehicle to its patrons after 3:00 p.m. But just so you should know, it is on a first come, first serve basis, so make sure you are organized if this is your desired method of transportation. The hotel is located steps from Melrose Avenue, which houses some of the most desirable fashionable shops in town. You have boutiques, vintage shops and some of your favorite designers in a central location in Los Angeles. It is minutes away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills and The Melrose Trading Post.

Accommodation and service at The London Hotel, West Hollywood

The room, or rather the suite, is spacious and luxurious! My stunning room had a private beautiful balcony too! To me, a balcony lets me test the weather before going out in the morning and at night and allows me the privacy to relax after a long day while taking in the views. Thus, I declare the balcony a travelling essential. With a large spa like bathroom and gorgeous tub, you will not be disappointed staying at The London in West Hollywood!

If you are following along on my travelling journey, you may have noticed that I like to test out the concierge and see if they can assist me in my excursions. The many times I bothered the concierge, they were extremely helpful and went that extra mile. On my return from my outings in West Hollywood, they remembered where I was headed to and enthusiastically asked about my day.

The Amenities

While I was there, I did not have a chance to visit the screening room, but I had the pleasure of making my way to the beautiful and renovated rooftop pool. There is ample room to eat lunch, relax at the pool and have a drink at the bar, all while taking in the panoramic views of the Hollywood hills.

The gym is spacious and has a variety of equipment for the workout enthusiast. The clean, open area makes the workout as fulfilling as if I was at my own gym at home.

The Tea Room is just as lavish, situated on the main level with luxe seating for a relaxing afternoon.
