We are loving the biker jacket trend here at Savvy Sassy Moms. I can’t help but think of my first middle school crush, Patrick Swayze and that unfortunate Kirk Cameron poster that was on my adolescent wall for far too long. Though we are not seeing much in the way of men’s jackets there are tons of fabulous women’s biker jackets in all colors and varied designs that we can’t get enough of. Here are a few of our favorites.

Biker Look by thelifeoftheparty featuring skinny leg jeans

When I hear the word biker jacket this is the first style that comes to mind.  Aside from the Valentino gauze tank, everything in this set is of a fairly reasonable price. You can easily replace the tank shown with a gray tank found at Target or Old Navy for that matter. Wear with a pair of white skinnies and a fabulous pair of booties. We’ve finished this look with the Liv Multi Charm necklace by Stella and Dot which is the last detail that will really pull this look together. So go shake it up girls!

Edgy Office Chic by thelifeoftheparty featuring platform pumps

Depending on the type of office you work in you might be able to get away with this look. It’s a little on the edgy side but still very chic. If you wanted to tone it down just a bit you could add a solid color blouse under the jacket. We chose a basic black pencil skirt by Ted Baker and paired it with a sleeveless animal print top by Michael Kors. The jacket we’ve chosen is actually a wool biker coat and though it’s pretty fabulous it also comes with a hefty price tag.  If you do a little shopping around I’m confident you can find something within the $200 price range.  The jacket may have been on the spendy side  so we’ve chosen a very reasonably priced platform heel by Michael Antonio to finish the look.
