All American looks for celebrating the Fourth of July

Red, White and BOOM!

Fourth of July is one of the few holidays that you can actually get away with “dressing up to the nines” to celebrate the holiday. If you were to wear a Mrs. Claus suit on Christmas Day, you may get a few odd looks from your friends and family but wearing stars, stripes, red, white and blue on the Fourth of July is not only perfectly acceptable, it’s a great way to show your love for  the U.S.A.

America is celebrating 237 years this Fourth of July and for the birthday celebration, most of us  will be BBQing with friends and family, jumping in lakes, pools or spending the day at the beach and then once night falls, laying down on blankets to gaze up at amazing fireworks shows. So what you’ll want to do is be comfortable in your celebration wardrobe. Think graphic tees with a  pair of cut-off jean shorts, a red, white and blue bathing suit or a simple pair of star adorned tennis shoes is simple yet classy enough for the biggest birthday celebration of the year.

What style will you be celebrating the Fourth of July in?

  1. That ModCloth dress excites me so! If only it was a little less expensive, I’d buy it and wear it every year for the 4th. Great collection!
