Thanks to Disney Books for sending me a copy of Feminist Baby and providing a prize pack!
Girls or boys, whatever gender your children are, they all have their own distinct personalities! Addison has a very strong personality. Jonah was always easy going, literally from the day he was born. He would go to anyone, smile at every stranger and just go with the flow.
Boys are busy, wild and full of energy. He physically drains me on a daily basis, but the emotional drain from a little girl is unlike anything I have ever experienced! When people meet her, it doesn’t take long to get her number! She let’s you know who she is and what she’s all about! Despite my efforts, she runs the show! If you are a stranger, don’t look at her, and if you are someone she knows, you should also probably watch out! She marches to the beat of her own drum and let’s you know who’s boss.
Addison is a Feminist Baby. I’d have to ask the author, Loryn Brantz, but I think her new book Feminist Baby was written about my daughter! Meet the irrepressible Feminist Baby in this refreshing, clever board book about a girl who’s not afraid to do her own thing, and wants to make as much noise as possible along the way! This book hit the shelves April 11th at a book store near you!
Do you have a Feminist Baby?
What I pick out for Jonah, Jonah wears. When it comes to getting Addison dressed, I wouldn’t be dumb enough to try and pick clothes out for her, because Addison wears what Addison wants. If I don’t like it, she doesn’t care! Addison is a Feminist Baby. When she doesn’t like what’s for dinner, she throws her food and makes a mess. What do I think about it? Oh, Addison doesn’t care! Addison is a Feminist Baby!
Now, do you have a Feminist Baby?
Don’t you worry. There are consequences that fit the crime, like cleaning up the food that is covering the floor, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. (Well, maybe sometimes I would!) Everyone who meets her, tell me the same thing. I may not like it now, but when she grows up, she will shatter glass ceilings and make her voice heard. She’ll be whoever and whatever she wants to be, because Addison is a Feminist Baby!
Win it!
Both kids love Feminist Baby. Jonah thinks it’s hilarious when the baby runs around with her pants off and Addison identifies all too well with it! If you have a Feminist Baby or have a friend who does, you absolutely need to read this book. We are giving away a Loud and Proud Feminist gift pack which includes a copy of Feminist Baby, a branded tote bag and pin and a $100 Visa gift card to buy whatever your little feminist picks! This book is so awesome! My Essie is a feminist baby! She doesn’t like to take the time to do her hair up and doesn’t care when people tell her she should. She lets it stay wild and free, so she has more time to focus on playing, running, and being herself (instead of what people tell her she should be).
This sounds like a cute book!
I agree they never wear what I pick out, it’s funny to see their personalities come out.
My kids are going to love this book.
My daughter’s fiercely independent nature and unwillingness to do anything the conventional way definitely makes her a feminist baby! That sounds way better than stubborn toddler…:)
I love this book idea. We just had a baby girl about a month ago and I want to begin reading this to her now!
Such a unique book for young kids… love it! ❤️
