I feel like every single week I find a new invitation in my mailbox to a baby shower, birthday party or bridal shower… so many parties! I love to attend parties, and I love to throw parties even more. What I don’t love is getting stressed out about planning a party. Do the plates match the napkins? What table decorations should I use? Did I remember party favors? Am I going to have to drive all over town to find decorations that go together?
Party planning hacks make glam
I have a secret for party planning that has completely changed the way I throw parties. I planned my last party using just one click! Instead of running all over town looking for the perfect color of gold for a baby shower, I ordered the a Party in the Box from Elliewood Collections. A glam baby shower — from a box
For this baby shower, I picked from the Elliewood Collections Betrothed Collection. Although it’s intended for a bridal shower, it also works perfectly for an ultra glam baby shower. I used the Trinity Pack which included these adorable gold scallop cups, plates, napkins and silverware.
In addition to the Trinity Pack, I used several accessories from the same curated collection. The Thimblepress Congrats Banner hung along side this adorable tissue paper tassel garland, which I put together using their Ivory Tassels Set, White Tassels Set and Gold Tassels Set. They came ready to assemble — no Pinteresting to figure out how to make tassels necessary!
The fun Hester & Cook Confetti Paper Placemats tied it all together and to make the party extra festive, I included Timblepress ‘All That Glitters’ Push-Pop Confetti for each guest to celebrate!
With the decor out of the way, all I had to do for the party was add some yummy snacks, something to sip on from those pretty gold scallop cups and sweets for the mom-to-be and her guests. It was — by far — the easiest party I’ve planned in a long time! I never thought I’d be able to order a party in a box that would include all of the little details I love so much about planning.
