Lemon squeezed for spring!

There is just something so refreshing about a big ol’ bowl of lemons. It makes me happy. Plain and simple. Not to mention, it is the easiest way to brighten up your home after a long winter!

I love this time of year, all the spring trends start to get me excited for summer, and the warm weather. A hot color for spring is yellow and I’ve also been seeing a lemon trend popping up too! I love lemons so much right now… you could call me a bit obsessed. In fact, we even started a Savvy Sassy Moms Lemon Pinterest Board!

Real lemons are easy to pick up at the grocery store, but if you want to put some lemons in a room other than your kitchen to last all season, you can purchase these cute Faux Mini Sugared Lemons we found from Pier One Imports, one of our favorite stores to find new spring home decor items — it’s always filled with so many cute things!

Yellow can be a tricky color to wear, but it is one of my favorite colors for accessories. Yellow sandals, bags and statement necklaces can be the color-key to any outfit. Try adding a yellow necklace to a plain t-shirt to dress it up a bit.
