Valentines Day Celebrations Twitter Party

Monday, February 9th
6:00pm PST / 9:00pm EST

Hosts: @momtrends & @savvysasymoms
Special Celebrity Chef Guest @KatieLeeKitchen

Join us as we chat Valentine’s Day prep with author, culinary expert and co-host of the Food Network’s The Kitchen, Katie Lee! We’ll be talking about Valentine’s Day Celebrations not just for couples, but how to celebrate as a family or with friends! Katie Lee will be dishing out tips for cooking up the perfect meal with your kids or planning a romantic dinner for your Valentine. No matter who is in the kitchen, we want it to be filled with lots of love and delicious food.

Whether you’re trying to decide what to do for that special someone or looking for a fun activity for the family, here are three creative tips from Katie Lee to get you inspired:

1. All in the Family

Show your family some love by celebrating together. Go to the supermarket and let everyone pick their favorite items, then come home and cook together. Or have a family movie night.

2. Made With Love

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to give a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift. Make homemade cookies and package them up in a decorative tin. This is a fun gift for the kids, friends and even co-workers.

3. Sparkling Chef

Choose a menu that is easy to execute and indulgent without being too heavy. To make a quick hors d’oeuvre, toast slices of baguette, spread with ricotta cheese, top with sliced strawberries and give a sprinkle of flaky sea salt with a drizzle of aged balsamic vinegar! For dessert, buy a chocolate angel food cake and serve it with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder. Now for the main event, sear filet mignon in a skillet and make a quick red wine sauce to serve with it. And don’t forget the champagne! Make a Valentine’s Day cocktail with pomegranate juice and seeds, a splash of citrus vodka, and top it with bubbles.

However you celebrate this Valentine’s Day, remember to shop smart. Now through March 31, Chase Freedom is offering cardholders 5% cash back at grocery stores and movie theaters. So whether you plan a romantic night at home or have a family movie night, Chase Freedom has you covered.
