Last night the Golden Globes took over Hollywood and the celebrities looked amazing, well most of them anyway. There was a whole lot of lace and while some of the lace gowns looked great, others looked tragic. When it comes to the Red Carpet I like classy not trashy. It’s not just the gown either, the hair and makeup need to be just right too.
My top 5 favorite head to toe looks of the night goes to: Julianne Hough, Julianne Moore, Kate Hudson Kerry Washington, and Hayden Panettiere. All of these women rocked it and most importantly, they were perfectly age appropriate!
Julianne Hough – She looked like a young modern rock & roll princess. I loved it.
Julianne Moore – A classic, polished and poised beauty.
Kerry Washington – Eclectic yet sophisticated. Loved the bangs!
Kate Hudson – Stunning, dark and sexy. WOW.
Hayden Panettiere – Playful, sweet and fresh. She looked so cute. I just wanted to eat her up!
Now for my least favorite looks…..
I didn’t care for the leg show off between Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum. They are trying to hard here and Heidi looks way to orange. Please take notes on age appropriateness from above.
I typically love me some Jennifer Lopez but I hated this dress.
Why doesn’t she just come naked once and for all.
I thought Jessica Alba looked to much like Malibu Barbie.
Beautiful face and hair but I did’t like the dress at all.
And the toss up…. Jennifer Lawrence – Love it or Hate it?

I was kinda bummed as a whole with everyone’s dresses last night to be honest. I kept hearing that it was going to be a “red carpet of color” and everyone was mostly wearing black. I did LOVE the sea-green dress though!
So many people seem to hate it but I loved Lucy Liu’s dress.
I didn’t care for Lucy Lu’s dress at all. Sorry;)
I was expecting a lot of color too, but I actually loved all the black!

Agree with your reviews. As for Jennifer Lawrence’s dress – I loved it. I thought it was classic with a touch of structure thrown in and it looked fabulous on her more athletic build. On others, the dress would have worn them.
I don’t get Heidi Klum – for someone who is an icon of the fashion industry, how does she always seem to be a “miss” on the red carpet???
