Get the Look! Summer to Fall

A white t-shirt is a wardrobe staple I think we all need to have a few of in our closets. It’s one of those tops that can take us through all the seasons but adding delicate accessories for summer looks, scarves or layering with denim jackets for fall or a fabulous chunky sweater for those cold winter months. It doesn’t cost a lot and you can reap the benefits all year long.

Today, I’ll show you show I transition my white t-shirt to fall and yes, on the rare occasion the temperatures drop ever so slightly on the island or maybe I’m just used to being warm all the time so when it drops a few degrees, I feel the need to grab a sweater.

During those summer months I wear lighter jewelry or a light scarf with my white t-shirt.  To transition my look to fall I added a denim blue scarf which is slightly heavier and just looks like the perfect fall accessory. I kept the accessories simple with a pair of silver earrings, a studded gold bracelet, a mixed gold and silver bracelet with a little bling to tie the mixed metals together.

To complete this look I dusted off my riding boots. The ankle boots are all the rage right now but don’t get rid of those riding boots just yet because they are still going to be on trend this season not to mention they are the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe.

What are some of your favorite wardrobe staples that carry you through the entire year?
