Modern Surfer Girl Nursery

If you’re expecting a pink summer bundle of joy, a modern surfer girl-themed nursery might be just what you’re looking for. I started this inspiration board, with my favorite color – and a color reminiscent of the ocean – a lovely aqua blue paint from Serena & Lily. Paired with classic surfer white and birch wood and pops of pink and yellow, the effect is serene, modern, and lovely. Whimsical touches like the ukulele and whale mobile will add some warmth to the room as well. I love that the rocker isn’t too “glider-y” (you know what I mean), and modern enough to be reused in the living room later if you wanted to. The chevron patterned rug adds just the right amount of California sunshine while pairing with the clean lines of the room.

Who knows? It very well may become her (and your) favorite place to dream about waves and catch some zzzz’s.
