Cake Pops by Bakerella

I am totally obsessed with Cake Pops I can’t seem to put the book down! Β Many of you know that I do not spend much time in the kitchen so this is actually my very first “Cookbook” Β LOL (seriously, it is.) If there is anything that will get me into the kitchen it has to be pretty damn special.

Β My daughter’s 6th birthday is just around the corner and these will be the Birthday Cake, not matter what they end up looking like.

  1. I’m really, really good at breads and pies, but cakes are supposed to be pretty. I suck at pretty. But I’ll try. I’d love to give this book to my cousin (who is good at that stuff) after I humiliate myself with it.

  2. I’m a baking novice, but when you’re baking with the good stuff – cake, chocolate, etc., it always turns out tasting good! I’m just bad at making it look good! So maybe this book would help me to make cute-looking things? We’ll see if I win! :0) I tweeted, too… :0)

  4. I have a deep love of baking, and I’m not bad at it either. But I’m more into tasty (quick breads, yeast breads, cinnamon buns, etc.) than pretty. But boy do I love a challenge! FabergΓ© egg Cake Pop, anyone? πŸ˜‰

  5. I like baking and am ok with it. My mixer however is in Toronto while I live in NYC so everything needs to be mixed by hand making inconsistent results.

  6. I love to bake–it’s my best cooking skill. πŸ™‚ I will do all the extra too!

  7. I do alot of cupcakes and candy with melts and molds. That is about as far as I go for now. This book looks awesome!

  8. I am a pretty experienced baker. I would love to win this book!

  9. I am so in for this challenge! I’m a fairly decent baker, but my kitchen gear is getting a massive upgrade soon, so I’m itching for methods to field test it all. Bring on the cake pops!

  10. My baking ability is okay. I need all of the help I can get.

  11. I re-tweeted, liked Savvy Sassy Moms on Facebook, and followed Bakerella on Twitter. πŸ™‚

  22. I am not a great baker but I love to make snickerdoodles.

  23. My baking abilities are not too creative..I can bake cookies and cakes, but would love to try something new..

  24. I love to bake, it’s a stress reliever! But, not clever on the decorating end!

  25. I would love to try making these cake pops. My hubby and I own a donut shop. We make donuts and pastries, but have not made cakes or cupcakes yet. I want to start making these. Can’t wait!! BTW, I “liked” you on FB. πŸ˜‰

  26. I looked at Bakerella’s book 2 months ago when a friend of mine brought it to work. I was immediately hooked on making these adroable treats. I have started making and selling them in my area. I would love a copy of this book to start getting more creative! I am a soon-to-be mom and would love to make these and be able to stay home with our little angel for the first year.

  27. I’m not completely cluelessed but not an expert/intermediate level either! I’d say I’m “experienced” with baking / cooking πŸ™‚
